Fact #1:

Zeus who was the ruler of all gods, who was also the god of the sky and thunder had a carefree personality. He could do whatever he wanted. The weather depended on his mood of the day. If Zeus was happy, the weather would be nice and sunny. If Zeus was mad, the weather would be horrible storms for all of the mortals.​

Fact #2:

Zeus was the son of Cronus and Rhea. Cronus is the youngest leader of the first generation of Titans. Rhea is the Titaness daughter of the Sky God Uranus and the Earth God Gaia. Zeus followed his siblings Poseidon, the God of the Sea, Hades, the God of the Underworld, Hestia, the Goddess of Hearth and Home, Demeter, the Goddess of Agriculture, and Hera, the Goddess of Marriage. When they were born, they were swallowed. Instead of Zeus, Rhea gave Cronus a rock. Rhea sent Zeus off, he was raised by the nymphs.

Fact #3:

Zeus had many symbols representing him. The thunderbolt and the throne were given to him as gifts from the Cyclopes. The Cyclopes was a big monster with one eye, who's main food group was people. They gave Zeus those gifts because he freed them from the underworld. Other symbols of Zeus are the Oak Tree and the Eagle.

Fact #4:

Thousands of years ago, many people looked up to and worshiped Zeus.He was the God of the sky he was also the ruler of all gods. As the God of the sky, Zeus was responsible for drought, rain, and thunderstorms. Since so many people looked up to him, they put Zeus on most of their coins.

Fact #5:

The King Tyndareus, who was the king of Sparta’ wife was admired by Zeus. Since Zeus was a player, he wanted to seduce her. He knew that he wouldn’t be able to as a person. Leda was turned into a swan, so Zeus could seduce her. After Zeus turned her into a swan, he later then turned her into an Eagle so Leda could protect him.

Fact #6:

Since Zeus sometimes watched over the humans and Gods, he usually had to settle their arguments. While he was settling the arguments he punished the people who were wrong, in his own eyes. Prometheus who was one of the wisest Titans was punished by Zeus, simply because he didn’t like the Titans.

Fact #7:

With all of the power Zeus had no one could challenge it besides his enemy Typhon. Typhon was the God of monsters. The reason Typhon was created was to “waste” Zeus. Typhon had a crew of monsters tried to take over Mount Olympus, so Zeus had to defend it.

Fact #8:

Zeus knew he was good looking, so he was a womanizer. Since he was a womanizer, he had many affairs. A few examples are, Hera, the protector marriage, Metis, planet mercury, and Themis, Titan justice of order. With all of the affairs, accidents do happen, so he had many children. Some were divine, some were mortal.

Fact #9:

Zeus, the God of the sky and his brothers, Poseidon, the God of the Sea, and Hades, the God of the Underworld divided up ruling the different parts of the world. The way they did it by drawing strings. Zeus had gotten the longest string, Poseidon got the middle string, and Hades got the shortest string.

Fact #10:

Cronos, Zeus’ father had swallowed all of his siblings. Zeus got mad, and decided to fight. Zeus and Cronos got all of their siblings to start a huge war. Cronos’ siblings were also known as the Titans. When they were about to fight, only five men showed up, since Zeus power was so overwhelming. Eventually Zeus’ side won.

Reasons for colors and music:

I had chose these colors because of when I think of Zeus I think of lightning, like most people do. When I see lightning, it's shades of purple. That is why I had chosen these colors. The reason why I had picked the music because since I think of lightning when I think of Zeus, it also makes me think of dark, intense things. There is thunder effects in the music, because thunder and lightning go hand in hand. Those are the reasons why I picked the things I did.
